Saucy Sausage Skillet
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes (undrained)
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 beef flavor bouillon cube
- 1 large zucchini, cubed
- 6 oz. Mueller's twist trio, cooked and drained
- chopped parsley
- In large skillet, saute sausage and garlic over medium-high heat for 10 minutes.
- Add mushrooms and onion; cook another 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes with juice, basil, oregano and bouillon cube, stirring to break up tomatoes.
- Add zucchini; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Cook 15 minutes, until zucchini is tender.
- Toss with twist trio.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
