Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
- 1 tsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. finely crushed Oreo cookies (approximately 18 cookies)
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed (not evaporated) milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. mini chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 300u0b0. Combine cookie crumbs and butter; pat firmly on bottom of 9-inch spring pan. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add condensed milk; beat until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. In a small bowl, toss together 1/2 cup chips with flour until the chips are coated; stir into cheese mixture. Pour into prepared 9-inch pan. Sprinkle remaining chips evenly on top. Bake for 1 hour. Cake should spring back when touched lightly---then it's done!! Cool at room temperature. Keep in pan until you serve. Refrigerate later.
