Chicken Adobo
- 1 lb. regular sliced chicken breast
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 4 pieces chopped clove garlic
- 1 tsp. black pepper balls
- laurel leaves (optional)
- 2 medium size potatoes, cut in 4 slices
- 1/4 sliced fresh red pepper (medium cut)
- 1 spoon sugar
- Precook chicken in 4 cups of water with 1 spoon of salt for 20 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Mix vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and pepper balls.
- Add on meat and bring to boil on medium fire for 15 minutes.
- Occasionally stir and make sure liquid won't dry up.
- In case, add additional water.
- When the natural juice of the meat comes out, add potatoes, red pepper and laurel.
- Cook on low fire for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle 1 spoon of sugar before serving.
