Onion Celeste
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 large Bermuda onions
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- sliced French bread
- 2 large, fresh broccoli heads, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 medium-sized head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 2/3 c. milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. biscuit mix *
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Cook broccoli and cauliflower in separate pans until tender. Drain thoroughly.
- Mix broccoli, cauliflower, 2 cups of cheese and the onion; separate and place into two 10-inch greased and floured cake pans.
- (We use the new coated pans; they are very nice to cook with!)
