Aussie Burgers
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 None onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1 None egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce, plus additional, to serve
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 None hamburger rolls, toasted
- None None Lettuce leaves, sliced plum tomatoes, sliced beets, cheese slices, tomato chutney, to serve
- Heat 1 tsp of the olive oil in a small skillet on medium heat. Saute onion 3 mins, until tender. Combine onion with ground beef, parsley, egg, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl; season and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill pan or large skillet on high heat. Brush with remaining oil. Cook patties 3-4 mins each side, until cooked through.
- Serve burgers on rolls with lettuce, tomatoes, beets, cheese, chutney and additional tomato sauce.
