Wasabi Snapper
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin (rice wine)
- 3 None green onions, sliced
- 1 1/4 inches fresh ginger, finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp wasabi
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 4 None snapper fillets
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- None None steamed rice, to serve
- None None steamed baby pak choi, to serve
- Combine teriyaki sauce, mirin, onions, ginger, garlic, wasabi and sesame oil. Add snapper, turning to coat. Cover and chill for 1 hour, turning once.
- Heat peanut oil in a large, nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Cook fish (reserving marinade) for 2-3 mins per side, until flesh flakes easily when tested with a fork. Remove from heat. Serve with rice and and baby pak choi. Drizzle with reserved marinade.
