Homemade Sausage Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Line 3 baking trays with baking paper. In a large bowl, using clean, damp hands or a spoon, combine sausage meat, ground beef, carrot, zucchini, breadcrumbs, onion, 1 egg, tomato paste and barbecue sauce. Season to taste.
  2. On a large chopping board, cut each pastry sheet in half with a sharp knife. Spoon meat mixture into a large piping bag and pipe along one long edge of each half of pastry. Roll up tightly to seal. Cut into 6 pieces.
  3. Arrange rolls on trays, about 1 inch apart. Whisk remaining egg in a small bowl and brush over rolls. Sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds. Bake for 20-25 mins, until golden brown.
