Marbled Meringue Kisses
- 2 None egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- None None Pink food color
- 1/2 cup canned milk chocolate frosting
- Preheat the oven to 250u0b0F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Beat egg whites and salt in clean, dry large bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition, until sugar dissolves and mixture is thick and glossy.
- Spoon mixture onto prepared pans to create 24 small rounds. Place food color in a small bowl. Using a skewer, dip tip of skewer into food color then swirl through meringue to marble.
- Bake for 1 hour or until firm. Turn off oven. Cool meringues in oven, with door ajar, for 2 hours or until at room temperature.
- Spread bottoms of meringues with frosting. Sandwich meringues together to make 12 kisses.
