Chicken Bundles
- 6 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 c. soy sauce
- 1/8 c. lemon juice
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced and divided
- 10 green onions, sliced and divided
- 1/4 c. melted butter, divided
- 12 slices thick bacon
- Place chicken between two sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap. Pound to 1/4 inch thickness, using a mallet or rolling pin.
- Place chicken in large shallow container; set side.
- Combine molasses, ginger, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, oil and lemon juice; stir well.
- Pour mixture over chicken breasts and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator.
- Saute mushrooms and green onions in 1/8 cup butter, stirring constantly until liquid has evaporated.
