Football Cupcakes

- 1/2 cup butter, chopped, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 None eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup milk

- 2/3 cup butter, chopped, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tbsp 2% milk
- None None food coloring, to decorate
- None None black writing gel or licorice candy, to decorate
- None None mini button-shaped chocolates, to decorate
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
- Cream butter and sugar until pale. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract. Fold in flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Distribute between paper liners and bake for 15-20 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Meanwhile, to make the icing, beat butter until creamy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar and milk. Use food coloring to color icing. Spread over cooled cupcakes in a football shape.
- Use black writing gel or licorice to create "laces." Decorate with mini button-shaped chocolates.
