Sticky Chicken Wings With Barbecued Corn
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 None lemon, zested and juiced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 2 1/4 lbs chicken wings
- 4 ears corn, in husks
- 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
- None None Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Combine honey, soy sauce, lemon zest and juice, oil and five spice in a shallow bowl. Add chicken wings and toss to coat; chill for 1 hour or overnight to marinate.
- Preheat a grill on medium. Peel back corn husks without removing husk. Remove and discard silk. Spread cobs with butter. Re-wrap in husks; secure with string.
- Cook corn, covered and 4 inches from heat source, for 20 mins, turning frequently, until tender. (If browning too quickly, wrap cobs in foil and continue cooking.)
- Meanwhile, cook chicken wings for 20 mins, turning constantly, until browned and cooked through. Serve chicken wings with corn and a grinding of pepper.
