Salt And Pepper Squid

  1. Dust squid with cornstarch, shaking off excess. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil to 350u0b0F. Working in batches, deep-fry squid for 2-3 mins, until light golden brown. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large wok over high heat. Add chili, bell pepper and garlic and stir-fry 20 seconds. Add cooked squid and toss for 1 min. Add salt, pepper and five-spice powder. Serve garnished with cilantro leaves.
