Pecan Blondie Bliss
- 12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter, chopped
- 6 oz white chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 3 None eggs
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup pecans, toasted, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- None None Powdered sugar, to dust
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Grease a foil-lined 9-inch square baking pan, with foil extending at 2 opposite sides for handles.
- Place butter and chocolate in a medium bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (don't let bowl touch water). Cook and stir for 3-4 mins or until melted and smooth. Cool slightly.
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla extract in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until pale and creamy. Add chocolate mixture; beat until combined. Fold in combined sifted flours. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan; smooth top with a spatula.
- Bake for 35 mins or until just firm in the center. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
