Spiced Steak With Avocado Salsa

  1. Mix 2 tbsp each of the oil and lime juice and spice mix in a glass dish. Add steak; turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap. Let stand 15 mins, turning once, to marinate.
  2. Meanwhile, for the avocado salsa, mix tomatoes, avocado, onion, cilantro, and remaining 2 tbsp each oil and lime juice in a medium bowl. Season. Set aside.
  3. Preheat a grill pan on high heat or preheat grill to medium-high. Cook beef 3 mins per side for rare. Add more time as needed for desired doneness. Transfer to a platter. Cover loosely with foil. Let stand for 5 mins. Slice thinly.
  4. Arrange lettuce on serving plates. Add beef then avocado salsa and 1/2 the sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips, lime wedges and remaining sour cream.
