Sausage Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 425u0b0F. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, bacon, egg, thyme, cranberry sauce and orange peel. Process until almost smooth. Season to taste. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with large tip.
  3. Cut each pastry sheet into 3 even strips. Pipe filling lengthwise along center of each pastry strip. Brush edges with milk. Roll up to enclose. Cut each roll into 3 equal pieces.
  4. Place seam side down on prepared pans. Brush with milk and prick with a fork.
  5. Bake 10-15 mins, until pastry is puffed and golden. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
