Tuna With Fried Noodles And Cabbage
- 1 1/3 lbs tuna, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp wasabi paste
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp grated palm sugar or brown sugar
- 1 lb fresh thin egg noodles
- 2 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 None green onions, thinly sliced
- Combine the tuna, soy sauce, wasabi, lime juice and sugar in a medium bowl. Drain the tuna, reserving 2 tbsp of the marinade.
- Place the noodles in a large heatproof bowl; cover with boiling water. Separate noodles with a fork; drain.
- Heat half the oil in a wok on high heat. Stir-fry the tuna, in batches, until browned. Remove from the wok.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Stir-fry the cabbage until wilted. Add the noodles, reserved marinade, sweet chili sauce and fish sauce; stir-fry until the mixture boils. Season to taste. Serve the noodles topped with tuna and green onions.
