Microwave Spaghetti And Meat Sauce
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dry parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- cooked spaghetti (3 c. will serve 4 to 5)
- In a 3-quart casserole, mix together the meat, onion, celery and garlic.
- Cover; cook on High 10 minutes, stirring twice. Drain off fat.
- Stir in tomatoes and liquid, tomato paste, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, basil, oregano and bay leaf.
- Cook on High 25 minutes, stirring twice.
- Remove bay leaf. Serve sauce over spaghetti.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Freeze remaining sauce.
- Makes 2 quarts.
