Poppy Seed Cupcakes With Orange Frosting

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla and milk. Add flour and baking powder. Add orange zest and poppy seeds and beat for 1-2 mins, until mixture is smooth. Divide between paper liners. Bake for 25 mins. Let cool in pan for 2 mins then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. To make frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar then orange zest. Spread over cooled cupcakes.
