Chocolate Nut Bars

  1. Lightly grease an 8 inch square cake pan.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in sugar and egg over low heat, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to thicken. Add vanilla and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, 1 cup chopped nuts and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder. Stir in cooled butter mixture until well combined. Press firmly into pan. Chill until firm.
  4. To make the icing, combine the powdered sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa powder and milk in a small bowl. Drizzle over slice. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Chill until firm.
