Sweet And Sour Devil Dogs

  1. Slice the hot dogs crossways into thirds.
  2. Drain the pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup of the juice.
  3. Blend the juice with the cornstarch.
  4. Combine the catsup, onion slices, brown sugar, garlic and lemon juice in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish.
  5. Stir the pineapple juice and cornstarch mixture.
  6. Add the hot dogs, stirring to coat.
  7. Cover with the casserole lid or vented heavy-duty safe plastic wrap.
  8. Microwave on Full power for 5 to 6 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly and hot.
  9. Add the pineapple chunks.
  10. Cover the casserole.
  11. Microwave on Full power for 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through-out.
  12. Garnish the top of the casserole with lattice of mustard, if you wish.
  13. Microwave on Full power for 10 minutes.
  14. Makes 6 servings.
