Cashew Candy(You Can'T Eat Just One!)
- 1 can cashews
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- 2 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1 c. butter (no substitute)
- 1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. finely chopped almonds, toasted
- 1 c. coarsely chopped almonds, toasted
- 4 (4 1/2 to 5 oz.) bars Cadbury milk chocolate bars (we found Cadbury worked best)
- Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan.
- Add sugar, syrup and water.
- Heat, stirring constantly to crack stage (300u0b0).
- Watch carefully after 280u0b0.
- Stir in coarse nuts right at 300u0b0.
- Pour immediately into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Scrape pan quickly and spread evenly in pan.
- Cool.
