Garlicky Chicken Wings
- 2 lb. wings or chicken cutlets or cut up whole chicken
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 2/3 c. Italian style bread crumbs
- 3/4 tsp. black pepper, coarsely cracked
- 1 large bulb fresh garlic
- 8 to 10 drops hot sauce (optional)
- 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Using either wings, cutlets or chicken parts, rinse and pat dry.
- Separate cloves of peeled garlic; place garlic, olive oil and hot sauce in blender or food processor and puree.
- Do not cut garlic, leave cloves whole, they puree much better whole.
- Combine bread crumbs and grated cheese with pepper.
- Dip wings in puree (garlic).
- Roll in bread crumbs, one piece at a time.
- Oil shallow baking pan.
- In single layer bake in preheated 375u0b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until crisp and brown.
