Savory Stuffed Meat Loaf
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 2 slices bacon, cut up
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Meat Loaf Stuffing (see following)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Mix all ingredients except stuffing. Spread 2/3 of the mixture in ungreased loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches, pressing mixture up sides of pan to within 3/4-inches of the top. Spoon stuffing onto mixture in pan, then top with remaining meat mixture, covering stuffing completely.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Drain off fat.
- Let stuffed meat loaf stand 5 minutes before cutting into thick slices.
