Creamed Mushroom Chicken With Biscuits

  1. Cook chicken in salt water until done.
  2. Let cool.
  3. Pick chicken from bones.
  4. Make a rich gravy with shortening, flour, salt (if needed), pepper, cream of mushroom soup, milk and broth. Cook until boiling, stirring often.
  5. When it boils, stir in chicken pieces; bring to a boil.
  6. Pour chicken mixture in an 11 x 14-inch baking dish.
  7. Place in 350u0b0 to 400u0b0 oven until a scum forms on the top.
  8. Place biscuits on top and bake until biscuits are done.
  9. Serve with salad and a vegetable.
