Meaty Spaghetti Sauce
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (18 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 lb. pork, cut in small chunks
- 1/4 lb. pepperoni, cut in small chunks
- Combine first 11 ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
- Cook bacon and set aside.
- Cook pork, sausage and pepperoni in bacon fat slowly until pork is done.
- Add bacon, pork and pepperoni to tomato sauce.
- Simmer 2 to 3 hours and add water as needed.
- Serve over spaghetti.
