Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

  1. Cook broccoli as directed on package and drain, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
  2. Melt butter in pan, adding flour and onion.
  3. Cook slowly and add broccoli liquid, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add seasonings and cheese.
  5. When cheese melts, add broccoli.
  6. Put in shallow casserole and cover with bread crumbs.
  7. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
  8. Serves 6. Can be made day ahead and refrigerated until baked.
