Peaches And Cream Salad

  1. Dissolve peach gelatin in boiling water; stir until dissolved. Add 3/4 cup cold water and mix well.
  2. Chill until the consistency of an unbeaten egg white.
  3. Stir in sliced peaches and banana. Pour into a lightly oiled 8-cup mold.
  4. Chill until set.
  5. Soften gelatin in 3 tablespoons cold water.
  6. Scald half-and-half cream and stir into gelatin mixture.
  7. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add whipping cream, sugar, and pureed peaches; mix well.
  8. Add to gelatin mixture and stir well.
  9. Pour over peach and banana layer. Chill at least 8 hours, or until firm.
  10. Yield:
  11. 10-12 servings.
