Apple Strudel
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- sugar
- raisins
- graham crackers
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- apples
- coconut
- corn flakes
- 1/2 c. warm water
- cinnamon
- pecans
- vanilla wafers
- Beat
- eggs
- lightly,
- add melted butter, water, vinegar and salt.
- Then gradually add liquid mixture to flour.
- Knead until dough
- is
- very
- elastic
- and
- does
- not stick to bowl. Divide into 5 balls, put in pan and cover with cloth.
- Put in warm place and let stand about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Core
- and slice 18 apples (peeling optional) and add 3/4 cup
- or more sugar for each strudel.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon for each strudel
- (in

- mix
- sugar and cinnamon together).
- Three cups filling
- for 5 strudels.
- Mix a little of each:
- corn
- flakes, vanilla
- wafers
- and graham crackers. Mix together 5 cups pecans (chopped small), 5 cups coconut and raisins (optional).
