Spicy Chile
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 2 lb. sweet Italian sausage
- 2 lb. hot sausage
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 large green peppers, chopped
- 3 cans kidney beans (light)
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. each salt, hot sauce, paprika, dry mustard and dried basil leaf
- 1 qt. canned tomatoes
- 1 pt. canned pepper sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. each black pepper and celery seed
- Brown meats separately and drain. Add peppers, onions, beans and tomato products (mash one can of beans before adding). Stir. Add seasonings.
- Stir. Cook on low heat at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally. This is hot and not for the faint of heart!
