Oysters Bienville

  1. Place oysters on the half shell in baking pan which has been filled with ice cream salt.
  2. Partially bake at 350u0b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
  3. Saute shallots, garlic and parsley in butter until brown.
  4. Add flour and brown on low heat.
  5. Add shrimp and mushrooms.
  6. Slowly add the cream and wine.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Add lemon juice and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  9. Pour sauce over oysters, cover with mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Return to oven and brown approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
