French Quarter Green Beans

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions; drain.
  2. Melt margarine in Dutch oven; add soup and cream cheese.
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in green beans, onion flakes, water chestnuts, garlic salt, pepper and Cheddar cheese. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2 quart casserole.
  5. Top with almonds; sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 375u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  7. Yields 8 servings.
