Cabbage Rolls

  1. Cook rice. When cool enough to handle, mix with beef, sausage, salt, pepper and garlic. Trim cabbage and remove as many leaves as you can. Drop leaves in boiling water for a couple of minutes to soften and make pliable. Rinse with cold water to cool. Shape meat and rice mixture into oblong meatballs and wrap a cabbage leaf around each.   2. large turkey roaster, then place cabbage rolls on top.
  3. Pour tomato sauce over the top and 1 quart of water.
  4. Cover roaster with foil and bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 350u0b0.
