Bell Pepper Stuffed
- 1 1/2 lb. ground elk or deer
- 1 can mushrooms
- milk
- 3 Tbsp. onion, grated
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 large green peppers
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
- bread crumbs
- Drain mushrooms.
- Add milk to mushroom liquid to total of 1/2 cup.
- Combine meat, mushroom (sliced), bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and egg.
- Remove end and seeds from peppers.
- Cut into three 1-inch rings.
- Place green peppers in a shallow baking dish and pack meat mixture into pepper rings. Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes.
- Combine catsup and grated cheese and spoon over patties.
- Continue baking for 10 minutes.
