Hamburger Stew
- 13 cups water (i used beef broth)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups celery
- 1 1/2 cups carrots
- 1 large onion
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons parsley
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons cayenne
- 5 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- chop potato's, onion, carrots, and celery. set aside.
- in a pot place 12 cups of water or beef broth, potatos, onion, celery, and carrots. bring to a boil and let simmer until potato's are soft.
- while potato's are boiling brown hamburger meat. and set aside.
- when potato's are done add hamburger meat, tomato sauce, parsley, basil, garlic powder. onion powder, cayenne, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce let simmer about 10 minutes.
- in a small bowl add 1 cup of water or beef broth and flour. when well mixed add to potato's and stir until thicken (about 3 mins).
