Caramel-Apple Dessert

  1. Microwave Directions: Toss apples with 1/4 cup wheat germ and flour.
  2. Layer apple mixture, ice cream topping and raisins in 8-inch square glass baking dish.
  3. Microwave at High 6 to 7 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes.
  4. Separate crescent rolls into 2 rectangles.
  5. Stretch dough over apples to edge of dish.
  6. Drizzle with margarine; sprinkle with combined remaining 1/4 cup wheat germ and cinnamon.
  7. Microwave at High 6 to 7 minutes, or until apples are tender.
  8. Let stand on countertop for 3 minutes.
  9. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
