Classic Lasagne
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano or basil
- 8 oz. lasagne
- 1 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese *
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 c. zucchini, unpeeled and sliced 1/8 inch thick
- 1 1/4 c. part-skim Ricotta cheese
- 6 oz. part-skim Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Steam zucchini over boiling water until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Drain.
