Sweet And Sour Ribs
- 6 lb. country-style pork chops
- 1 1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 4 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/3 c. wine vinegar
- 1 c. pineapple chunks (in heavy syrup), drained (save syrup)
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 2 medium size onions, cut in bite size pieces
- 2 large green peppers, cut in bite size pieces
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- Put ribs in baking pan and brown in a 425u0b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Drain fat.
- Combine all ingredients for sauce.
- Cook over medium heat until smooth and glossy and is thick.
- Spoon 1/2 of the sauce over the ribs.
- Reduce heat to 350u0b0 and continue cooking for 25 minutes.
- Turn ribs over and cover with remaining sauce; cook for another 25 to 30 minutes.
