Broccoli And Beef Stir-Fry

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients and 1/2 cup of water; set aside.
  2. Mix cornstarch with remaining 1/4 cup water; set aside.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok or shallow skillet until hot.
  4. Add broccoli stalks, sliced.
  5. Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add broccoli flowerets; cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp.
  7. Remove broccoli to platter.
  8. Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to wok; heat until hot.
  9. Add meat and stir-fry until done.
  10. Add soy sauce.
  11. Add cornstarch mixture; stir until slightly thickened.
  12. Add broccoli and mix well.
  13. Serve over rice.
