Down Home Hot Dog Chili

  1. Brown and drain chuck meat and onions, chopping with spatula while browning so the beef will be fine.
  2. Add garlic clove, then add in this order:
  3. tomato paste, tomato juice, barbecue sauce, sugar, mustard, garlic powder, parsley flakes, celery salt, pepper and chili powder.
  4. Simmer 6 to 8 hours in slow cooker.
  5. Yields approximately 4 quarts.
