Easy Lasagne
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes (2 1/2 c.)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
- 1 1/2 c. cut up Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- Brown ground beef and garlic in small amount of fat.
- Add tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Cook noodles as directed on package.
- Heat oven to 350u0b0 (moderate).
- Alternate layers of meat sauce, noodles and cheeses in baking dish, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch, beginning and ending with meat sauce. Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
