Thirteen Vegetable Soup
- 2 lb. chuck roast, browned
- 4 qt. water
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 3 leeks, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 turnips, chopped
- 1/2 small cabbage
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 3 to 4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 bag frozen green beans
- 1 bag frozen lima beans
- 1 bag frozen corn
- 1 bag frozen okra
- 1 bag frozen peas
- 2 tsp. Wyler's beef granules
- Brown the chuck roast.
- Save bones.
- Bring water to a boil. On top of meat add Wyler's.
- Add the onion, tomatoes, leeks and celery and cook for 2 hours.
- Add turnips, cabbage, carrots and potatoes and cook for 30 minutes.
- Add beans, lima beans, corn, okra and peas and cook for another 30 minutes.
