Buttery Pasta With Shrimp
- 3 c. cooked spaghetti
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen shrimp (1 1/2-inch size)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 2 c. cubed tomatoes (1 or 2 tomatoes)
- grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat (5 to 7 minutes).
- Add all ingredients except tomatoes and cheese.
- Saute 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti; stir to blend.
- Continue cooking over medium heat.
- Stir occasionally until heated (3 to 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat; add tomatoes; cover and let stand 1 minute or until tomatoes are heated.
- Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
- Serves six (1 1/2 cups each).
- When preparing shrimp, you will have to cook in boiling water for 10 minutes prior to adding to other ingredients.
