Orange Iced Cookies

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Combine rind and juice of 2 oranges, eggs and buttermilk.
  3. Add this to cream mixture alternately with flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons orange juice to this batter.
  5. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes.
  7. When cool, ice with orange icing above.
