Spaghetti Meat Sauce
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 bay leaves (remove)
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 c. shredded sharp cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 large cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 small cans mushroom slices
- 1/2 c. tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 c. Parmesan grated cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- Saute onions, garlic, pepper and ground beef.
- Cook and stir often, mashing meat until it crumbles and browns.
- Add tomatoes, ketchup, tomato sauce and all spices and seasonings.
- Cook on medium slow in deep saucepan.
- Add mushrooms when three-fourths done.
- Add cheeses when done.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring often.
