My Favorite Bran Muffins

  1. Stir Nabisco Bran into the boiling water and cool.
  2. Cream sugar and margarine.
  3. Add the eggs and beat well.
  4. Add the cooled bran mixture.
  5. Add the buttermilk.
  6. Stir the salt and soda into the flour and sift into the liquid ingredients.
  7. Fold in the All-Bran and raisins.
  8. Batter may be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks and baked as needed, or they may all be baked in greased muffin tins at 375u0b0 for 25 minutes for large muffins and 15 to 20 minutes for smaller ones.
  9. These freeze well.
  10. The recipe may be doubled if you have a very large mixing bowl.
