Bratwurst And Cabbage Skillet

  1. Melt margarine in a large skillet.
  2. Add cabbage, onion, celery seed, salt and pepper.
  3. Stir to coat; then cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir occasionally.
  5. Stir in the apples and sugar.
  6. Cook, covered, 5 minutes longer.
  7. Saute the bratwurst until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Stir in 1 cup of cheese and sour cream into cabbage mixture.
  9. Add bratwurst.
  10. Cook, covered, 5 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
