Layered Dessert
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 medium Cool Whip
- 2 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding with 3 1/2 c. cold milk (or 1 large instant pudding with 2 1/2 c. cold milk)
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter. Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Beat cream cheese with sugar and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth.
- Fold in half the whipped topping; spread over crust.
- Using 3 1/2 cups cold milk, prepare pudding as directed on package.
- Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill several hours or overnight.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding.
- Garnish with grated chocolate or chopped nuts, if desired.
- (You may also substitute pistachio, lemon or butterscotch flavors of pudding.)
