Broccoli Casserole Ii
- 3 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 roll garlic cheese
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 3 large stems celery, sliced
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 pkg. of Ritz crackers, crushed
- Cook broccoli according to the directions; pour off excess water; set aside.
- In the top of double boiler, melt cheese with mushroom soup while onions and celery are being sauteed in margarine.
- Combine these two mixtures along with mushrooms and water chestnuts.
- Into a large greased casserole dish, pour broccoli; then the above mixture and top with Ritz crackers.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven until brown and bubbly.
- Makes 10 to 12 servings.
