Brunswick Stew

  1. Place chicken and meats into pot and cover with water; add salt and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook until very tender.
  3. Remove meat from bones and return to broth.
  4. Add all of the other ingredients and cook slowly
  5. until it is as thick as you like, usually about an hour.
  6. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
  7. More seasoning may be added, if desired.
