Pork Chop Dinner

  1. Trim
  2. fat
  3. from
  4. pork chops.
  5. Grease large skillet with fat. Cook
  6. chops
  7. in
  8. skillet over medium heat until brown on both sides.
  9. Drain
  10. off
  11. fat.
  12. Sprinkle chops with salt.
  13. Top each chop
  14. with
  15. onion slice.
  16. Stir together in a bowl orange juice, brown
  17. sugar,
  18. allspice,
  19. lemon juice and water.
  20. Pour orange juice
  21. mixture
  22. into skillet.
  23. Heat to boiling.
  24. Lower heat; cover and simmer 25 minutes.
  25. Arrange the sweet potatoes (drained) and orange slices on the pork chops.
  26. Cover and cook 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are heated through.
  27. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
